Full Day Madison River Scenic Tour - No Angling (Per 2 People): $550
The Madison River winds through a spectacular, sweeping valley flanked on either side by towering snow-covered peaks. We like to think of the Madison Valley as the Serenghetti of North America. A wide variety of wildlife are viewed on a daily basis floating the Madison River, and many enjoy just sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the wildlife and views without concentrating so much on a size 14 Adams Dry Fly. Without the focus of fishing, we can bite off a larger chunk of the river and see more in a day than the average float fisher. We're stocked with spotting scopes, binoculars, and good attitudes ready to take you on a fun and relaxing scenic float of the Madison Valley!
What You Can Expect:
The day before your trip, we will contact you about the day ahead. Specifically, we’ll chat about meeting time and location, what time you’d like to be back, what you’d like for lunch, and what (if any) specific interests you may have in a scenic float on the Madison. For example, if you're a birder there are particular reaches of the river that offer better birding than others. For those interested in larger wildlife such as deer, moose, antelope we know where to float to get the best opportunity at viewing these species. If simply seeing the best vistas the majestic Madison Valley has to offer, we can do that as well. Full Days are typically between 6-8 hours in duration.
Booking and Refund Policy:
To book a trip and reserve your day(s) we require a $200 deposit payable by cash, check, or credit card. The balance is due the day of your trip either by cash or check only. Checks can be mailed to:

Within 21 days prior to the trip the deposit will be paid to the guide for any cancellation by customers. A cancellation by the customer within 48 hours prior to the trip will require payment in full. If the weather looks like it will be completely detrimental to viewing opportunities for scenery and wildlife, we will work with you to reschedule or if necessary refund your deposit.

What to bring:
All lunches, binoculars, viewing scope, and non-alcoholic beverages are included. For all you photographers, please feel free to bring any equipment you'd like on your trip. We have plenty of dry storage on the boat to keep your equipment safe and dry during your trip. Additionally, we strongly suggest the following items on any guided trip: sunglasses, hat, lip balm, and rain gear. While you are more than welcome to bring alcoholic beverages, we are not legally allowed to provide them.
Weather:
Montana packs some serious weather punches occasionally on the river. While we’ll do our level best to avoid the brunt of most weather systems, you should be prepared for anything mother nature delivers. If the weather appears to be apocalyptic we'll cancel the trip and work with you to reschedule or refund your deposit.
